TTR: Sustainable Livelihoods: The Bandhwari Women’s Project

This TTR was special, as I had the opportunity to be a panelist. For the past year, I have served as the Director of the Bandhwari Women's Project, a social initiative aimed at helping the women of the Bandhwari Village gain financial independence by selling their handmade clothing and accessories in the United States. At this TTR, I had the opportunity to discuss topics such as gender equality, economic empowerment, and sustainable fashion while raising awareness for the work completed by the artisan women of Bandhwari.
